My work involves the process of capturing in paint, small details of everyday life, concentrating especially on what sustains us, quality produce. The subject evolved organically out of my background in viticulture and my contact with a diverse range of growers and producers of fine food. The versatility of watercolour as a medium allows me to choose which aspects of an image to imbue with detail and which to leave as a fluid suggestion.

Printed on Hahnemuhle acid free archival paper, with dimensions 210 × 297 mm, this range of prints was inspired by the simple beauty of both humble and celebratory foods.
